All of our lives at 4 The Guy were impacted in some way by Angelo "The Guy" Rios. He was our brother and everybody's best friend. Angelo faced challenges everyday as he was permanently dependent on his wheelchair to get him to class, events, and even to take care of the most mundane task, such as brushing his teeth or getting ready for the day. His positive attitude throughout everyday life made it to where he never met a stranger. It earned him the nickname of "The Guy," because whether he was on campus at UT-Arlington, at a Texas Rangers game, or at a local concert he would always find at least somebody that he knew. He was the host of the DJ Angelo Show and co-host of The Fry and the Guy Show and loved spreading his message to an audience.

Angelo passed away on August 29th, 2019, one month before he was able to close down the ballpark that he said "felt like his second home." When we attended the final game at the ballpark with him there with us in spirit, we decided that we wanted to help his legacy live on with the start of the 4 The Guy Foundation.

"The Guy" cherished every moment spent at events, surrounded by loved ones, and making memories that last a lifetime. Whether it was the roar of the crowd at a sports game or the thrill of hearing his favorite band play, he lived for these moments.

At 4 The Guy, we're dedicated to helping others enjoy the little things in life by ensuring that our 4 The Guy Experience recipients have an enjoyable time, filled with cherished memories. We take care of all the event logistics so our recipients can focus on enjoying the roar of the crowd and creating memories that last a lifetime.

But our mission goes beyond just providing experiences. We're committed to spreading Angelo's message of resilience and perseverance. If you know a child who has faced a critical illness, a disability, or a severe hardship, or has made a positive impact in their community, we want to hear their heroic story.

Join us in welcoming these deserving kiddos into our 4 The Guy Family, where they'll be embraced with love, support, and the opportunity to create cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Together, let's honor Angelo's legacy and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
